• Bachelor of Maritime Studies in 1964
• Signal Training in 1970
• Master degree of military Sciences and Maritime Staff officer rank in 1977
• Training Mission in France for 2 years (1981-1983) to obtain the higher War School Course for joint arms.
• Fellowship in the higher academy of war in 1978
• Senior officer course (higher course at leaders Academy in 1995)

• Served as an officer at the Naval Forces for 33 years
• Naval Academy for 3 years of studies
• Vice-Chairman of Damietta Port Authority since 16/6/1997
• Chairman of Damietta Port Authority since 19/2/1998
• Delegated as the Head of Maritime Transport Sector since 21/12/2001
• Appointed as the Head of Maritime Transport Sector since 24/1/2002
• Appointed as the Secretary-General of Arab Sea Ports Federation since 2004 till present
